Aparshakti Khurana's latest film Berlin, direct-to-OTT release on ZEE5, opened to great feedback from the critics and audiences. The spy thriller premiered on the streaming platform after being screened at various film festivals. Directed by Atul Sabharwal, the movie follows the story of a deaf-mute man, who is accused of being a foreign spy. In the movie, Aparshakti plays Pushkin Verma. And the new poster suggests he might be in a tough spot due to a national security mission.

Berlin new poster ft. Aparshakti Khurana

ZEE5 shared a new poster of Berlin on its official Instagram handle. The poster hints that Aparshakti's character Pushkin Verma is either 'uncovering the truth' or 'concealing' it during the investigation. The caption to this reads, "Will this national security mission put Pushkin in a vulnerable position? Berlin streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)." Check out the poster right below:

For those who've come in late, Aparshakti plays the character of a sign language expert in the movie, which was released on September 13. In an interview with OTTplay, Khurana said learning sign language was the biggest challenge for him. The actor added he also had to learn his co-star Ishwak Singh's dialogues.

Vishal Bhardwaj reviews Berlin

A few days ago, the streaming platform dropped Vishal Bhardwaj's review of Berlin on social media. The ace filmmaker thoroughly enjoyed watching this spy thriller. In his review, Bhardwaj mentioned, "A thrilling espionage experience. It is rare to find a slow burner film in this genre which keeps you hooked till its last frame."

Helmed by Atul Sabharwal, Berlin features Ishwak Singh as a deaf-mute man Ashok Kumar. His co-star Rahul Bose plays the role of an intelligence officer.
