The title look poster of East Coast Vijayan’s directorial Chithini has been unveiled by East Coast Communications on December 23. Actor Suresh Gopi revealed the poster through his official Facebook page. It gained popularity on social media quickly.
The female lead in this family entertainer is portrayed by Bengali actress Moksha made her debut in Malayalam through East Coast Vijayan's fantasy comedy Kallanum Bhagavathyum, is expected to captivate audiences once more. The audience had praised her portrayal of Bhagavathy.
Vinay Fort and Amith Chakkalakkal will also be playing prominent roles in the film, which will also feature debutants Arathi Nair and Enakshi.
K V Anil, along with East Coast Vijayan, has written the screenplay and dialogue for the film. According to the makers, the movie will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. They have also revealed that Chithini, which is East Coast’s seventh production, will include horror sequences in addition to being an emotional drama.
Johnny Antony, Joy Mathew, Sudheesh, Srikanth Murali, Jayakrishnan, Manikandan Achary, Sujith Shankar, Pramod Veliyanadu, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raja, Anoop Sivasevan, and Kootikal Jayachandran are among the supporting cast of this movie.
Ratheesh Ram will helm the camera work, and John Kutty is the editor. Ranjin Raj will compose the songs for this film. Dhanya Balakrishnan is the costume designer, while art direction will be handled by Sujith Raghav.

Filming for Chithini is scheduled to commence in January in Palakkad and nearby areas. The makers have not, however, disclosed any information about the movie's theatrical release date or the OTT platform that will stream it after it runs on the big screen.
Kallanum Bhagavathiyum, starring Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Anusree, Moksha, and Salim Kumar, was released in March this year. The film was an adaptation of K V Anil’s novel of the same name. It revolves around a series of events after Mathappan Unni, a thief, steals an idol of Bhagwati from a forested cave temple.
With his music albums, East Coast Vijayan has been well-known to the Malayali audience for more than 20 years. He has also directed films such as Jayaram’s Novel and Meera Jasmine’s Mohabbath.
