Anurag Kulkarni, Roll Rida and Prudhvi Chandra have sung the number composed by Mani Sharma and lyricised by Krishna Chaitanya
Kartikeya, who’s rediscovering himself as an actor in a wide variety of roles, be it RX 100, Gang Leader, Raja Vikramarka or Valimai, is back in a new avatar for his next release, Bedurulanka 2012. Neha Sshetty, the DJ Tillu girl, plays the female lead in the film directed by Clax and produced by Ravindra Benarjee Muppaneni under Loukya Entertainments. The film’s releasing in theatres on August 25.
Mani Sharma is composing the music for the comedy. The first single, Vennello Aadapilla, launched a few months ago, garnered nearly 2 million views on Youtube. A new song from the film, Solluda Shiva, was unveiled today. Anurag Kulkarni, Roll Rida and Prudhvi Chandra have crooned for the number which has lyrics by Krishna Chaitanya.
‘Bhogamantha Yiduvane..Yiduvavu Vinthagundhi raa..Nuvvevadivi Solludaa Sivaa..Nuvvevadivi Solludaa Sivaa,” the song, which has a catchy musical hook, discusses the philosophy of the happy go lucky protagonist. He’s content, happy with his existence, lives in the present and leads life on his own terms. The lyrics package these thoughts in a lingo more familiar to the common man.
While the expressive rendition is quite attractive, it’s Kartikeya’s presence and his impressive dance moves that enhance its appeal. Moin has choreographed the number. The song has a certain vibrancy you can’t deny and the beautiful orchestration offers enough space for the lyrics to make an impact. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the album.
Ajay Ghosh, Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Srikanth Ayyengar, 'Auto' Ram Prasad, Goparaju Ramana, LB Sriram, Surabhi Prabhavathi, Kittayya, Anithanath, Divya Narni play other key roles in the film. Sai Prakash Ummadisingu, Sunny Kurapati are the cinematographers for the entertainer while Viplav Nyshadam is the editor. Anji, Prithvi Raj are the stunt directors.
