Bedhadak: All you need to know about Shanaya Kapoor, who is debuting in Karan Johar's film

Shanaya Kapoor has been in buzz since her cameo appearance in Netflix's hit series The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives which stars her mother Maheep Kapoor. After the Bollywood debuts of Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday, the movie-buffs have been eagerly waiting for the arrival of Sanjay Kapoor's daughter.
In 2020, the debutante entered the Bollywood industry for the first time as an assistant director in the Sharan Sharma directorial Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which was bankrolled by Dharma Productions.
However, even before her first step into Bollywood, the aspiring actress debuted in the Le Bal in Paris in the year 2019.
For the uninformed, Le Bal is a fashion event held annually in Paris to bring together a few debutantes aged 16 to 22 from many countries.
A lot of cinema fans have been waiting for Shanaya's debut. Netizens have been posting congratulatory and excitement filled posts to acknowledge her first step into acting with a big-budget film.
One of the fans mentioned in a tweet, "Eagerly waiting to watch Bedhadak on big screen. Shanaya izz literally looking gorgeous in poster, Let's see what will gonna happen (Sic)."
The 22-year-old actress is all set to share the screen space with Gurfateh Pirzada, who debuted with the Netflix original film Guilty alongside Kiara Advani and Akansha Ranjan. KJo's Bedhadak also stars the television actor Lakshya in his feature film debut.
Meanwhile, apart from the two actors, the young actress also shared a few posters from her upcoming film on Instagram and wrote, "A new era of love is filled with passion, intensity & boundaries that will be crossed! Presenting #Bedhadak where I get to share the screen with my suave co-actors, Lakshya & Gurfateh - directed by the one and only Shashank Khaitan! (sic)."
