Beast trailer reaction: Netizens are OBSESSED with Thalapathy Vijay’s action-packed ‘blockbuster’

The netizens have been waiting with bated breath for Thalapathy Vijay to unveil the trailer of his next, Beast. When he did unveil it, they could not keep their calm. While a few became obsessed with the trailer, the others tagged it a blockbuster already.

The hashtag #BeastModeOn has been trending since almost the whole day (April 2), when the netizens realized that they will get to see Beast trailer. These viewers were up for a pleasant surprise when they got to know that the clip has action and comedy in place.

Most of them have been sharing clips and images of Vijay and expressing just how excited they are after watching the trailer. One viewer actually wrote he/she is obsessed with at least 30 seconds of the clip, where Vijay talks to Yogi Babu.

Another user shared that the action-packed trailer ensures that Beast will be a ‘blockbuster’. She also praised Vijay’s swag in the short clip.

Beast is touted to be Thalapathy’s first movie in Hindi. The Tamil actor has been extremely loved in Kollywood. His fan following is almost as much as Thala Ajith’s.

Beast sees Vijay in the role of a spy who was previously a soldier. There is a dialogue in the trailer confirming the same. “I am a soldier, not a politician,” Veeraraghavan (Vijay’s character) says in the trailer.

Another aspect that people love in the trailer is the lyrics penned by Anirudh Ravichander. “Meaner, leaner, stronger. Can you feel the power, terror, fire?,” are part of the lyrics in a song in the film.

Beast also stars Pooja Hegde and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The movie is helmed by Nelson, who has also penned the script of the film. It will release in theatres on April 13.
