Beast team to head to Russia after pack up in Chennai

According to the latest reports, the Beast team will travel to Russia for the shoot as they are nearing the wrap up of the schedule in Chennai. This Vijay-starrer is produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Nelson Dileepkumar.
A source close to the cast revealed to TOI that although the next schedule is planned for Russia, it will depend upon the Covid-19 situation at the time. Shooting began in Chennai in the mid of July and will wrap up soon.
Vijay is collaborating with Nelson for the first time and there is much hype about the movie after the huge success of Master the Vijay-Vijay Sethupathi multi-starrer. In addition to that, prominent director Selvaraghavan will be making his acting debut as an antagonist. He will be accompanied by another antagonist which will be played by the Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko. The makers revealed that there would be three villains that Vijay would have to fight in the movie. The details about the third villain are still under the wraps.
Nelson has also hinted that the character of Vijay would be a ‘sharp and funny’ one. Vijay is reported to play a con agent in the movie. He will be paired opposite Pooja Hedge who made her debut with the Tamil movie Mugamoodi in 2012. She will be returning to Tamil cinema after almost a decade. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Aparna Das. Music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
