Beast OTT release date: When and where to watch Thalapathy Vijay's latest action movie online

The mixed reviews Beast received upon its release in different languages hasn't hampered its box office prospects. The film's Tamil version is going hammer and tongs in many territories in India and abroad. The Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, starring Vijay in the lead, has been bankrolled by Sun Pictures.

Though today is only the second day of the movie's release, film lovers are curious to know about its OTT release. Though an official announcement is yet to be made on the same, we have learnt about the digital platforms on which the action flick will drop soon.

What's Beast about?

The movie revolves around a former RAW agent who sets out to rescue around 200 people who get stuck in a mall after a group of dreaded terrorists hijack the place. They demand the release of a dangerous and most wanted terrorist to the government.

How the former soldier, with the help of a few people, handles the situation forms the crux of the story. Will he be able to pull it off? Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in the movie which has Selvaraghavan, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley essaying notable roles.

When and where to watch Beast online?

The project will drop on Netflix and Sun NXT around May 15. The makers are expected to come up with an update on the same after a few weeks. The previous film of Sun Pictures, too, released on both platforms after a month of its theatrical release.

Manoj Paramahamsa has cranked the camera for the film which has music composed by Anirudh, stunt scenes choreographed by Anbariv and dance sequences helmed by Jani. Nirmal has edited the movie which is Vijay's release after a 15-month hiatus.
