The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Bazooka have dropped its new poster today (September 7) on the occasion of Mammootty's birthday. To the joy of his fans, the latest poster not only depicts the Malayalam megastar's character in the game thriller but also suggests that it would soon be released in theatres. The actor is seen playing golf with an extremely stylish look.

Bazooka's release date update

Mammootty's Bazooka is one of the most anticipated Malayalam projects of 2024. The actor's admirers as well as movie buffs have grown impatient with the multiple delays of the theatrical release. There had been rumours that the film was planned to be an Onam release this year. Nevertheless, according to current reports, the game thriller will premiere on big screen in either December 2024 or January 2025.

In the meantime, the recently released poster verifies that the film will soon be released in theatres. As a result, fans are now expecting a Mammootty film, perhaps in October.

All about Mammootty's Bazooka

Deeno Dennis is making his directorial debut with movie. A significant part in the movie is played by renowned actor and filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is working with Mammootty for the first time on screen.

The teaser for the gaming thriller seems to indicate that Mammootty's unique appearance and presence on screen, striking visuals, and the genre being explored will all contribute to an interesting cinematic experience. According to the trailer, the main focus of the movie is on the interactions between Mammootty's character centred around a mission and Gautham's police officer.

In supporting roles in the movie are Jagadish, Sunny Wayne, Hakkim Shajahan, Divya Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sharaf U Dheen. This movie has been financed by Theatre of Dreams, of Anweshippin Kandethum fame. The film's compelling narrative and exceptional cast have already piqued the interest of moviegoers. In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Deeno said that Bengaluru and Kochi are the main locations for the movie.
