Bastar box office collection day 2 - Filmmaker Sudipto Sen's movie, starring Adah Sharma, is struggling at the box office. The movie failed to collect Rs 1 crore on day 2 at the box office.

Bastar box office collection day 2 - After The Kerala Story, actress Adah Sharma reunited with filmmaker Sudipto Sen for a new project, Bastar: The Naxal Story. Unlike The Kerala Story, their new film has failed to strike the right chord with the audience. The movie opened to a lukewarm response at the box office and its struggle continues. After an opening of Rs 50 lakh, Bastar witnessed a slight growth in its collection but not enough to call it a substantial one.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, filmmaker Sudipto Sen's film Bastar minted approximately Rs 75 lakh on day two at the box office. The movie, starring Adah Sharma in a lead role, is struggling to earn Rs 1 crore on a day at the ticket window. The total collection of the movie is Rs 1.15 crore.

For those who are unaware, Adah Sharma's film Bastar clashed with Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha at the box office. While Shaitaan's glorious box office run hasn't majorly impacted Yodha, the Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan film has given stiff competition to Bastar. Having said that, Adah's film also opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audiences alike. It could be one of the reasons Bastar's collection is not on the higher side.

Where to watch Bastar on OTT?

Once Bastar's theatrical run ends, Adah Sharma's film will have a digital release on ZEE5. While the platform is concerned, the makers are yet to share the streaming date of Bastar on the OTT platform. Adah's movie The Kerala Story is also available to watch on the aforementioned streaming platform.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Bastar is based on the Naxalite–Maoist insurgency in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Besides Adah, the star cast of the film includes Indira Tiwari, Vijay Krishna, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma, Subrat Datta, and Raima Sen among several others.
