Barun Sobti is presently awaiting the release of his upcoming web series, Raat Jawaan Hai. Directed by Sumeet Vyas, the web show explores friendship and parenthood. The actor will be seen essaying the character of Avinash in the series, which will premiere on SonyLIV. He plays the role of a doting father to his kid Rahi. A new promo of Raat Jawaan Hai featuring Barun is out now on social media. It highlights the actor fulfilling his daddy duties.

SonyLIV shared a new exciting promo of Raat Jawaan Hai featuring Barun Sobti as Avinash. He is a father to one-year-old kid Rahi in the Sumeet Vyas directorial. The latest promo features Avinash juggling his son's tantrums and playdates like a pro.

While sharing the promo on Instagram, the streamer wrote, "Meet Avinash, Rahi’s dad, a true ‘dad-ster’ of juggling tantrums and playdates like a pro! Raat Jawaan Hai, streaming from 11th October, only on Sony LIV! (sic)." Barun will be seen alongside Priya Bapat and Anjali Anand in the web series.
Speaking with OTTplay, Barun revealed the challenges he faced while shooting for Raat Jawaan Hai. The actor said, "It was very challenging for me because I had to act with a small baby who is one year old. We had to give away to our fundamentals sometimes and feel really guilty. Because we had to get the shot but the baby was not willing. So, that was a challenge for me."

In the same conversation, Barun shared that liked the way Raat Jawaan Hai was written. He decided to take up the show because he thought it was a 'novel space' to get into. It's because Barun believes people are focusing now on 'thrillers, serious events and real-life stories'.
