Barroz, the long-awaited directorial debut of superstar Mohanlal, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on the special occasion of Christmas 2024. The movie, touted to be a 3D period fantasy film, has been garnering the attention of cinephiles with its promising trailer, and posters. Recently, the makers of Barroz dropped the Isabella music production video on social media, featuring Mohanlal, on social media. The actor-filmmaker has also turned a playback singer yet again, for the song.

Mohanlal, the actor-filmmaker recently took to his official social media handles and posted a special video, revealing he has turned playback singer yet again, for Barroz. ““ISABELLA” is close to my heart, made special by Lydian Nadhaswaram’s genius composition and Vinayak Sasikumar’s heartfelt lyrics. Here’s the making of this beautiful track from Barroz3D,” wrote Mohanlal on his social media post. The team also dropped by Isabella music production video, on the official YouTube channel of Sony Music South.

For the uninitiated, the Isabella song is composed, arranged, and programmed by young musician Lydian Nadhaswaram. The lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Mohanlal’s soulful rendition, catchy tune and exceptional orchestration, and the meaningful lyrics have made Isabella song Barroz a soothing melody. The makers are expected to reveal the Isabella lyrical video, around the film’s release time.

As reported earlier, Barroz is reportedly slated to be released only in 3D format in the theatres. For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and his team especially shot the film only on 3D format, instead of shooting in 2D and later converting into 3D. Thus, the actor-filmmaker and his team are keen to release Barroz only in 3D format, across the globe.

Recently, Mohanlal revealed that Barroz is a complete period fantasy film that is made for children. According to the superstar, who also essays the titular role in the film, he was keen to make a quality 3D film for children, as the genre remains unexplored in Indian cinema. The actor-filmmaker added that his directorial debut is a highly layered film that deals with many emotions including love, integrity, and commitment.
