Mohanlal’s directorial debut, Barroz, is now nearing the final stages of its production. Young musician Lydian Nadhaswaram is set to make his movie debut as the composer of the film.
Barroz, the directorial debut of superstar Mohanlal, has been under production for quite some time now. The 3D fantasy film, which was supposed to hit the big screens on March 28, 2024, has been postponed yet again. As reported earlier, the final round of post-production activities for the film is now progressing in the US. Meanwhile, Lydian Nadhaswaram, the young musician who is set to make his movie debut with Barroz, penned a special note for Mohanlal, thanking the superstar.
For the uninitiated, Mohanlal was in the US for over two months for the post-production work of Barroz and the third schedule filming of the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, L2 Empuraan. The superstar, who is now back in India, surprised Lydian Nadhaswaram, the young musician who has composed the songs and original score for his debut directorial venture. The superstar visited Lydian’s house, exactly 5 years after he invited the musician to join the Barroz team.
“The first phone call from Mohanlal uncle was on March 15th, 2019 with wishes for “The Worlds Best Winning” and also an invite for his debut directorial movie “Barroz” for music direction!” reads Lydian Nadhaswaram’s post. “The same day March 15th today, His presence surprised us with his phone call again but this time to visit our home! #BarrozComingSoon @Mohanlal,” further added the young musician. In the pictures, Mohanlal is seen visiting Lydian’s home and studio and posing with the music composer and his family.
