The popular video-on-demand platform Cinebazzar, nicknamed OTT theatre, has acquired another Telugu film for a direct-to-digital release. The platform had recently released the feel-good romance saga Nee Vente Nenu on the streamer. Now, they’re gearing up to premiere a gritty rural drama, Bari. The film, directed by debutant Suresh Reddy, will be out on Cinebazzar.com on October 20.
Raju and Sahana play the lead roles in the film, which revolves around an aggressive youngster who loses direction in his life owing to gambling while also focusing on his romantic escapades. Naga Mahesh, Bus Stop Koteshwar Rao, Krishna, Suneetha Manohar, Kavitha, M Arun Kumar, and Jai Bharath Reddy form the supporting cast of the drama produced by Munikrishna CV and Geetha Krishna.

The trailer released by the makers introduces us to a protagonist who’s obsessed with cockfights in his village. His parents constantly advise him to find a purpose in life and warn him that his obsession will only lead to misery later. He later falls for a village belle, and the latter too expresses interest in him. His interest in gambling leads to frequent quarrels, and he eventually lands in a soup.
Will the protagonist transform for the better? The film has a good mix of action, romance, humour, and arresting drama. Bari can be watched on Cinebazzar.com any time throughout the day as per the viewer’s preference for a price of Rs 25. The rural drama has a runtime of 113 minutes. V Anil Kumar cranked the camera for the film, which has music by Mahavir.
Srikrishna Attaluri is the editor of Bari, while Bala Narasimha is the choreographer for the songs. Jaya Donthi Reddy is the art director, and Sai Manideep is the sound engineer. Lahari Music has acquired the audio rights to the Sahana Arts production. Multiple songs from the film Ippudippude Puttenu, Eppudu Padithe, and the title track were launched sometime ago.
