Barbie story

Barbie is a live-action film that tells the story about how Barbie leaves her dreamy fancy world and appears in the real world. Within the vibrant walls of Barbie Land, where everything sparkled and perfection seemed to reign, Barbie and Ken lived in a constant state of bliss. Yet, beneath the surface of candy-coloured landscapes and seemingly endless fun, a yearning for something more pulsed within them. So, when an opportunity arose to step beyond the boundaries of their plastic world and into the messy, unpredictable realm of humans, they readily embraced it. Little did they know, this foray into the real world would open their eyes to a spectrum of experiences far broader and more profound than they could have ever imagined, exposing them both to the exhilarating joys and the sobering perils of human life.

Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson's experience making the song 'Dance The Night'

Recently Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson have spilled the beans about the making of ‘Dance The Night' song from Barbie to Variety. The duo has co-written the song. Although ‘Dance The Night' sounds like an easy going and fun song, it was not so easy to make it. That's what the musicians-duo revealed. Dua and Mark talked about how they created the song in a special video, and they even let you hear the different parts of the music one by one. So you can see how much thought went into making it sound so happy and catchy.

Ronson shared that they rewrote the song so many times, that even they forgot to count. “Like, Dua was literally coming up with lyrics, when Margo does that come-hither thing with her fingers, that’s when I want to sing ‘Come along for the ride’, We actually engineered that song almost like a score”, Mark shared.

About 'Dance The Night' song

The song masterfully revives our childhood nostalgia, its sugar-coated melody conjuring up sunny days and endless possibilities. But beneath the sugary surface, a disquieting undercurrent begins to swirl. The harsh tones of an acoustic guitar, its sombre notes scraping against the pop sheen, evokes a sense of unease, a first whisper that Barbie's perfect world might not be all it's cracked up to be.
