Parakramam is a new Telugu film that has been directed by Bandi Saroj Kumar. The film is based on gully cricket and will be released during IPL 2024.

Parakramam is a new Telugu film that has caught the attention of many with its intriguing posters. The film is helmed by Bandi Saroj Kumar, who is famous for his recent popular film Mangalyam which was out on OTT. Well, he is back in the news with this new film and the makers have the latest update.

The makers have decided to release the film during the upcoming cricket season of IPL 2024. Parakramam revolves around the gully cricket and has been made on a very low budget. The special aspect of the film is that Bandi Saroj Kumar plays the main lead, directs the film, and has also edited and written lyrics for this sports drama.

Bandi Saroj Kumar is also producing the film on his BSK Mainstream banner. The ace cinematographer, Venkat R Prasad, who is known for his craftsmanship in films like Pournami and 100% Love, is handling the cinematography for this film which is based on real-life incidents related to gully cricket.

And Kali SR Ashok is the sound designer, who has worked and gained a good name as a technician for the director's previous films. The popular classical dancer, Sruthi Samanvi is playing the female lead in this film along with Naga Lakshmi. Bandi Saroj Kumar says that he is going to introduce around 50 new actors to this film. All of these actors are from the theatre background.

Saroj's ambitious storytelling centers on Lovaraju, the protagonist whose life unfolds against the backdrop of Lampakalova, a village nestled in the Godavari district. The narrative intricately weaves together the vibrant tapestry of gully cricket, romance, theater, and the dynamics of village politics.

The shooting of Parakram has been wrapped up and the film's post-production works are going at a rapid pace. The official teaser is going to be launched in a few days, along with the release date announcement. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
