It’s impossible to keep Nandamuri Balakrishna out of action. The star has found novel ways to reinvent himself with time with greater excitement - his appearances in aha’s talk show Unstoppable and the tremendous success of Akhanda are proof of the same. He’s returning to the platform again and no, it’s not for the second season of Unstoppable.

The star was spotted shooting for the reality show of the streaming platform, Telugu Indian Idol, at Annapurna Studios recently. He was at his smashing best wearing a maroon-coloured overcoat matching his red kurta at the venue and was seen along with a group of dancers on the stage at the show’s sets.

Reportedly, Balakrishna is a special guest for Telugu Indian Idol’s semi final. While the images confirm that the star will be shaking his leg to a few dance numbers in the show, one must wait to see if he’ll sing along with the contestants too. A few weeks ago, an episode in Telugu Indian Idol had the contestants rendering the best numbers in the star’s 108-film-old career.

Telugu Indian Idol, hosted by Sreerama Chandra, is judged by singer Karthik, composer Thaman and actress Nithya Menen. This is the first ever edition of Indian Idol in Telugu. Meanwhile, the team of Major, including Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala had appeared on Saturday’s special episode. aha’s next release is Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam on June 3.
