Balakrishna renders an unconditional apology to the Deva Brahmana community
Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his vast knowledge of the Hindu sastras and ancient mythology. But his recent speech about the Deva Brahmana community has created a ruckus. In one of his interviews, Balakrishna said that Devala Maharshi is the guru of Deva Brahmins and that Ravana is considered to be a leader by them.
This did not go well with the Deva Brahmana community who took to the press and demanded an apology from the star right away. In a detailed note in Telugu, Balakrishna tendered an unconditional apology and said he was misinformed about Ravanabrahma as leader of Deva Brahmanas and he only came to know that later.
His note also read “I would never hurt the sentiments of any of my brothers and sisters. Unknowingly, I committed a mistake, and I am sorry for that. Our Telugu people know that I never intend to hurt their feelings.” Now that he has rendered an apology, the issue has subsided.
Balakrishna is flying high with the success of his latest film Veera Simha Reddy which was released on the 12th of this month and is running to packed houses. His OTT show, Unstoppable with NBK is also in the news as the star hero will host Pawan Kalyan next week.
