Bakasuran teaser: Selvaraghavan effortlessly aces a badass character in Mohan G's crime thriller

Tamil film lovers were surprised when director Mohan G, who is known for a couple of controversial films, roped in Selvaraghavan to play the lead in Bakasuran. The unusual combination, however, piqued their curiousity. The makers have now unveiled the movie's teaser which offers a glimpse into its story.

The one-minute teaser has Selvaraghavan playing a remorseless revenge-seeking man who unleashes the beast in him against a few people who disturbed his peaceful life. The movie seems to revolve around illicit relationships and vulnerabilities young girls are subjected to in today's society.

Natty aka Natraj Subramaniyan essays the role of an investigation officer in the movie which has Radha Ravi, Rajan K, Rams and Saravanan Subbiah among others playing important characters in it. Director Mohan himself has produced the project under the banner of GM Film Corporation.

Sam CS has composed music for the film and his background score is one of the highlights of the intriguing teaser. Devaraj S and Farook J Basha have handled editing and cinematography respectively for the project. Mirattal Selva has choreographed action sequences while Johny has composed dance moves.

The first look and second look of Bakasuran were unveiled recently by the team. The movie marks Selvaraghavan's third outing as an actor after Beast and Saani Kaayidham. The former had him essaying a character role while the latter had Keerthy Suresh, too, playing one of the lead roles along with him.

Bakasuran is the first film which is exclusively headlined by the acclaimed filmmaker. Though its teaser reminds of his portrayal in Saani Kaayidham, which was also a revenge drama, the former's plot and backdrop is different. Fans of the filmmaker-actor are eager to know how he is going to surprise them this time.
