Selvaraghavan in Bakasuran
Acclaimed filmmaker Selvaraghavan, who made notable appearances in Beast and Saani Kaayidham last year, is gearing up for the release of Bakasuran which is hitting the screens tomorrow. The filmmaker-turned-actor has opened up about the methods he relied on while playing the role of a concerned father in the film.
Selva said that he completely followed Mohan G's instructions and that the body language and expressions he came up with were based on the latter's ideas. According to him, it is difficult to concentrate on other things when you are focusing on your acting.
What impressed Selva was the story written by Mohan and the approach towards a few incidents based on which the movie has been made. Mohan had earlier revealed that the idea behind the project is the slew of events in which girls are lured by many people for their selfish needs.
Known for making controversial topics, it is believed that Bakasuran, too, might ruffle feathers. The director had indulged in heated arguments during the press meet of the movie which was held recently when he was accused of portraying certain communities in poor light.
Natraj Subramaniyan, Radharavi, Rajan K, Rams and Saravanan Subbiah play key roles in Bakasuran which has cinematography by Farook J Basha and editing by Devaraj S. Sam CS' music is expected to be one of the highlights of the film which revolves around a street theatre artiste who takes on a few criminals.
A stern cop sets out to take action against the theatre artiste who starts punishing the criminals in his own way. Will he be able to nab him?
