The title winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4, Aari Arjunan has been on cloud nine after all the recognition he has been garnering. He is currently filming for his upcoming mythological thriller titled Bagavan. The team of the movie had recently filmed its pre-climax sequence at Senji Fort of Villupuram, Tamil Nadu.

Aari shared deets regarding the shoot of Bagavan with ETimes, saying that the team of the movie faced challenges in securing an approval to shoot from the archaeological department on the account of the pandemic. The team believed that Senji Fort was the perfect location to film the mythological portions of the movie and were ready to wait to get the green signal from the department. He also mentioned about the conditions of the cave at the fort, which was flooded after heavy downpours. “We had to pump out all the water, dry the place and shoot,” said the actor who will be adorning a new avatar in the sequence that takes place at Senji Fort.

There is a surprise for all the fans as a well-known actor will be making a special appearance in one of the important scenes in the movie. Aari mentioned that they were in talks with several actors for this particular role where they were on the look for a prominent personality. “We still have two days’ work remaining and we will be shooting those portions once we have zeroed in on the star,” said the actor.

Talking about the team of Bagavan, the upcoming mythological thriller is helmed by Kalingan Sakthi, which is bankrolled by CV Manjunatha under the banner of Ammanya Movies. Soundtrack of the movie is composed by Prasan Bala and the camerawork is by Murugan Saravanan.

The post production along with visual effects will kick start soon after the final stages of production are wrapped up. Meanwhile, the motion poster of Bagavan was unveiled by the team in December, last year.
