In this contemporary Gen Z love story, we follow Rishabh and Surbhi as they pursue their passions while cherishing the comforting traditions of their family. Throughout their story, the intricate weaving of love, tradition, and self-identity will evoke feelings of joy, sorrow, and introspection.

Sooraj R. Barjatya on the show’s essence

Barjatya, speaking about his landmark premiere, said in a statement that Bada Naam Karenge is a labor of love that celebrates family, dreams, and respect for tradition in a modern world. These facts suggest Gen Z is as idealistic and driven as any other generation. With a remarkable blend of classic charisma and modern vitality, Palash has brought this idea to life.

Vaswani went on to say that he firmly believes that the pure, innocent romance that once dominated the screens is sorely missing from modern-day entertainment. Keeping that in mind, the filmmaker has embarked on a mission to resurrect this adored subgenre and restore the clean, kid-friendly narratives of yesteryear.

Vaswant added that watching Bada Naam Karenge with family and friends of all ages is the best way to enjoy a show that will bring joy and motivation to everyone. The sequences featuring Ayesha and Jameel, as well as the one with Ritik and Ayesha at the Ujjain ghat, particularly moved him. Such tales serve as a poignant reminder of the value of human connections in the modern world. Working with Rajshri Productions and Barjatya to make this dream a reality is an incredible privilege for him.

Stellar cast and rediscovery of roots

Jameel Khan, Rajesh Tailang, Anjana Sukhani, Sadhika Sayal, Gyanendra Tripathi, Priyamvada Kant, Omm Dubey, Bhavesh Babani, and many more are among the actors featured in the show as the protagonists rediscover the love that leads them back to their roots.

Get ready for a whole new way to experience the magic of Rajshri Productions with the exclusive streaming of Bada Naam Karenge on Sony LIV (OTTplay Premium) commencing February 7, 2025.
