Just when we were all busy discussing the MCU and DCU of the cinematic world, along with some Dune and Gladiator Will Smith called his buddy Martin Lawrence, and they both made us realise we were craving their bromance. The Bad Boys returned for a fourth round, and this time, it took only four years, unlike the last gap, bringing us Bad Boys: Ride Or Die. In this film, they are now accepting their age and are okay with being action stars who have aged and have seen a glorious life. The film struck a chord with the audience, and it turns out they are loving it, as it has a pretty good opening. This made the world crave more of this partnership and franchise. But until now, we haven't heard much about the next film, which is Bad Boys 5.
Bad Boys 5 Update
However, it turns out that has changed now, as producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that there are indeed discussions around Bad Boys 5 happening and that the fans will most likely get the film. The producer has not confirmed the news officially, but given that they are discussing a 5th film and it all depends on box office performance, it is pretty obvious that they will greenlight it. The report comes after Will Smith and Martin Lawrence recently discussed their terms for returning to Bad Boys 5. Read on to learn everything about the same.
According to Comicbook, Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of Bad Boys: Ride Or Die has confirmed that they are indeed discussing the fifth film. While it all depends on the box office performance of the 4th, the team is going to have conversations this week. The producer refrained from revealing a specific date. "We've had discussions, but we want to see how this one did at the box office, and I'm sure we'll have conversations this week," Bruckheimer shared. "It happens; I can't give you a specific date.”
He also spoke about his history with highs and lows at the box office. "I know we've had dips for certain pictures that were sure winners that didn't happen, and something else sneaks in there and becomes a huge hit. The audience is there; you just gotta give them something that they want to see. And we don't know what that is, but we do our best efforts,” he concluded.

Before Bad Boys: Ride Or Die there are three films in the franchise, namely Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, and Bad Boys for Life. All of them are streaming in India on Jio Cinema, YouTube (on rent), Google Play (on rent), and Apple TV (on rent).
