Bachchhan Paandey week 1 Box Office collection: Akshay Kumar’s film very slow, fails to mint even Rs 50 crores

Ever since its release, Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey has only witnessed a drop in the Box Office collections. The movie’s fate is such that it has not been able to mint even Rs. 50 crores at the Box Office after week one. The movie’s total collection currently stands at Rs. 46.75 crores.

At the end of week one aka on first Thursday, Bachchhan Paandey merely earned Rs. 2.50 crores at the Box Office. The movie’s Box Office collections began at Rs. 12.25 crores.

Friday – Rs. 12.25 crores

Saturday – Rs. 11 crores

Sunday – Rs. 11.50 crores

Monday – Rs. 3.50 crores

Tuesday – Rs. 3.25 crores

Thursday – Rs. 2.50 crores

Total – Rs. 46.75 crores

Bachchhan Paandey faced a huge challenge from The Kashmir Files, which picked up tremendously on week two. The Akshay Kumar starrer saw its major dip on the weekdays and might not be able to pick up in terms of Box Office collections in this weekend either since it faces another huge competition in terms of RRR.

Farhad Samjhi’s Bachchhan Paandey was moderately performing well in UP, Bihar and MP after the belts finally completed their Holi celebrations and wanted to enjoy a movie. However, even these belts have performed poor if you compare Bachchhan Paandey to The Kashmir Files’ performance at the Box Office.

At the current speed, Bachchhan Paandey might just touch Rs. 50 crores before going out of cinemas. The movie will really have to struggle to survive in the second week. However, it will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video and the OTT game might change things for the movie.
