Bachchhan Paandey release date: When and where to watch Akshay Kumar starrer on OTT

The Farhad Samji directorial has hit the big screens on March 18, 2022.

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchhan Paandey has finally hit the screens on Friday. The film is a festive release on the occasion of Holi 2022. Soon after its theatrical run, Bachchhan Paandey is set to get an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT platform is the official streaming platform of the film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will start streaming on April 15, 2022.

The film tells the story of a mobster named 'Bachchhan Paandey' (Akshay Kumar) and an aspiring director named Myra Devekar (Kriti Sanon), who intends to make a biopic on a real-life gangster. Her careful investigation leads her to a single name: Baghwa's most dangerous, one-eyed 'Bachchhan Paandey.' When she eventually has the chance to acquire insight into Bachchhan's life by being captured by him, things take an intriguing turn.

In a statement, Akshay remarked that Bachchhan Paandey is a straight-up comedy entertainer, and he is very eager to present it to those who haven't had their fill of amusement.

The actor added that it is filled with action, drama, and comedy. Audiences can watch the film from the comfort of their own homes when it debuts on Prime Video on April 15. Akshay hopes the viewers have as much fun watching the movie as they did filming it.

Bachchhan Paandey was a Holi 2022 release on the big screen. Earlier, while talking about it, Kriti Sanon, the female lead, had shared her excitement, saying that after two years of the pandemic, cinemas have reopened, giving her the same butterflies as before.
