Baby on OTT: Watch Anand Deverakonda drool over Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s appeal in her celebration dance

Baby, the second film of director Sai Rajesh, who helmed Hrudaya Kaleyam earlier, is one of the biggest hits across Telugu states this year. Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin, Vaishnavi Chaitanya played the lead roles in the film produced by SKN under Mass Movie Makers. While the film had an impressive run at the theatres, it is gearing up for its OTT premiere this Friday.

Leading Telugu, Tamil OTT platform aha bagged its post-theatrical streaming rights and will premiere the film 12 hours earlier for aha Gold subscribers. The film is expected to fetch impressive viewership for the platform given the cult status the movie achieved days into its release. Ahead of its premiere, the intro dance celebration of Vaishnavi Chaitanya from Baby was launched on Tuesday.

In the celebratory sequence, Vaishnavi is in a joyous mood, grooving to local beats on her street commemorating Vinayaka Chavithi. Anand Deverakonda is completely smitten and surprised by her appeal as Vaishnavi dances like there’s no tomorrow. Not only is it a great showcase of her dancing skills and energy, but also her terrific screen presence.

The dance sequence, choreographed by Vijay Polaki appears in the first few minutes of the film where it introduces Vaishnavi’s character to viewers. While Anand Deverakonda is cast as an auto driver in the same, Vaishnavi plays a suburb girl whose life changes once she enters an engineering college in the city. The film is a complex love triangle dealing with Vaishnavi’s struggles to make informed decisions in her life.

Vijai Bulganin scored the music for the film while M N Bal Reddy is the cinematographer. Viplav Nyshadam edited the romance and Suresh Bhimgani is the art director. Noted music label Saregama acquired its music rights and ETV bagged the satellite rights. Celebrities like Vijay Deverakonda, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun Sushanth, Vignesh Shivn have applauded the film.
