Babli: Subahshree Ganguly shares BTS from North Bengal

The director and his team went to Lataguri, North Bengal, as the shoot started in February. Sauraseni joined the team on February 1.

After the humongous success of his debit OTT, Abar Proloy, Raj Chakraborty is all set with his new film, Babli. Based on Buddhadeb Guha’s love story, the film features Subhashree Ganguly, Abir Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, and others. The director and his team went to Lataguri, North Bengal, as the shoot started in February. Sauraseni joined the team on February 1.

Subhashree, who is all set to make a comeback after her second motherhood, shared a series of behind-the-scenes videos and photos. She shot a glimpse of the floor and also shared a photo of the bungalow where the shoot is currently taking place.

The muhurat of the film took place in the latter half of January at Raj’s office. The actors and actresses were seen posing with the director. They took to their social media and shared the photos.

Earlier this year, Subhasree Ganguly went for the look set of Babli. She was spotted in a white kurta and practically no makeup. After getting down of the car, she greeted the photojournalists warmly. The media people asked her about her daughter Yaalini. Subhasree said that both Yaalini and Yuvaan were doing fine.

Buddhadeb Guha’s Babli is a love story set in the forest of North East India. The film will, however, be set in North Bengal. The music of the film is composed by Indraadip Das Gupta.
