The entire team, apparently, is stoked to have the Vikrant Rona actor on board and expressing collective gratitude, Shanvi Srivastava has penned an endearing post for Sudeep.
Shanvi Srivastava's all set to return to the limelight with Baana, a full-blown action film that will present her in a never-seen-before avatar. Sree Ganesh Parashuram directs the film which marks the acting debut of popular singer and music composer Raghu Dixit. Dixit plays the role of Daddy in the film, a dreaded gangster who faces off against Shanvi's Leona in a battle of epic proportions.
But that isn't the only thing to look forward to because, as it turns, out there's also the presence of a certain Mr. Kiccha Sudeep in the film. Well, maybe not in person, but apparently Sudeep's voice is a part of Baang which will be potentially heard as narration. For obvious reasons, the entire team is stoked to have the Vikrant Rona actor on board and expressing collective gratitude, Shanvi Srivastava has penned an endearing post for Sudeep.
"Dear Sudeep sir. I am very well aware that this small note won't be enough to thank you for your kindest gesture. You agreed to give us your voice which undoubtedly is the biggest strength of our film. The entire team of BAANG is delighted to feel your presence in our film. We wish to have your love and support throughout this journey and more. Thanks again for giving us your voice. You're kind," wrote the Avane Srimannarayana actress.
Reportedly, director Ganesh Parashuram, too, has expressed joy over having his childhood hero Sudeep as part of the project.
Baang is scheduled to release in theatres on August 18, 2023, and the makers have already announced that the film's trailer will come out on July 29. The film's cast also includes Sathvika, Sunil Gujjar, Ritvik Muralidhar, Natyaranga and others with Ritvik Muralidhar also scoring the music. Uday Leela is the film's cinematographer with Pooja Vasanth Kumar serving as the producer.
