According to the latest reports, Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad is writing a script for a biopic. Unlike his previous mass action thrillers, this biopic will focus on the life of a teacher.

According to the latest reports, Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad is writing a script for a biopic. Unlike his previous mass action thrillers, this biopic will focus on the life of a teacher. Not any teacher but Ranjith Singh Disale, the winner of the Global Teacher Award in 2020.

Ranjith Singh Disale from Maharashtra became famous for his proactive and simple measures which he took to keep his pupils out of poverty. He also printed textbooks in regional languages and constructed school buildings. He was selected from twelve thousand competitors and was awarded one million dollars for his efforts.

It was Vijayendra Prasad who revealed that he will be working on the biopic. He has not yet discussed the actor he has in mind to play the lead role. He is also working on a story about the life of Goddess Sita and another exciting time-travel themed movie.

Vijayendra Prasad is known for writing stories with a strong mass masala element. His films with his filmmaker son SS Rajamouli have always clicked at the box office. He has proved his mettle with movies like Simhadri, Mersal, Chathrapati, Rajanna and has written the story of RRR. He also won Filmfare Award for Best Story in 2016 for Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
