A Harsha, who is making Tiger Shroff's next is a well-known Kannada filmmaker and choreographer.
Choreographer-turned-filmmaker A Harsha’s been in the news today after the release date of his Bollywood directorial debut, Baaghi 4 was announced. Harsha is a well-known name in Sandalwood circles, on account of having choreographed several hundred hit songs and directed 10 films, 4 of which had Shivarajkumar in the lead, while one was with Puneeth Rajkumar, each registering varying levels of success.
Although Harsha made his directorial debut with the 2007 film Geleya, it was the 2012 Chingari, with Challenging Star Darshan in the lead that did moderately well. The action thriller had Darshan paired with Deepika Kamaiah, while Bhavana, Srujan Lokesh, Madhu Guruswamy, among others, had pivotal roles. The film was the Kannada adaptation of the Hollywood film Taken.

The fantasy action drama Bhajarangi, starring Shivarajkumar in the lead, was a major blockbuster. Shivarajkumar was seen in a double role in the film, which also starred Aindrita Ray, Rukmini Vijaykumar, Madhu Guruswamy, Sourav Lokesh, among others.

Shivarajkumar’s second film with Harsha had him as an orphan on a journey of self discovery. The actor was paired with Nabha Natesh, while Shubra Aiyappa was seen in a cameo, including the hit number No Problem, sung by Tamil superstar Dhanush. Also on the cast of the film are Karunya Ram, Jayasudha, Madhu Guruswamy, Padmaja Rao, etc.

Harsha’s only collaboration with the late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar was on the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Poojai. Puneeth was paired with Rashmika Mandanna in the film, with major cast members including Ramya Krishna, Mukesh Tiwari, P Ravi Shankar, etc. Hariprriya had done a special number for the film.

The filmmaker’s next was also a remake. This time around, he took on the Telugu film Rarandoi Veduka Chudham and adapted it with Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Rachita Ram in the lead. While the Telugu original had music by Devi Sri Prasad, Harsha got Anup Rubens to do the score.

Harsha returned to the Shivarajkumar camp with yet another fantasy action drama that had the Century Star in a double role yet again. The film’s release was impacted massively, as the actor’s brother Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on its opening day. The film revolved around the use and misuse of Ayurveda. Shivarajkumar was paired with Bhavana, while Sourav Lokesh, Shruthi, Shivaraj KR Pete, among others were also on the cast.

The film revolves around the killing spree Vedha and his daughter Kanaka unleash on those who had wronged her.
