Azaad box office collection day 2: Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani made her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's film Azaad. The 19-year-old shared screen space with Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgan in the movie. Ajay, too, is an integral part of the film. Azaad was released on January 17 and clashed with Kangana Ranaut's Emergency at the box office. This clash seems to have affected Azaad with its box office numbers. After a slow start, the film saw no improvement on day two.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Azaad collected Rs 1.5 crore on day one of its theatrical release. The film, starring Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan, had opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the Abhishek Kapoor directorial earned Rs 1.5 crore, which is the same as its day one collection.

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency minted Rs 3.5 crore on day two of its theatrical release. The political drama's total collection comes close to Rs 6 crore while Azaad trails behind with Rs 3 crore.

Aaman Devgan on knee surgery and promoting Azaad

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Aaman Devgan spoke about promoting his film Azaad after knee surgery. "I had knee surgery about three-and-a-half months back, and it's definitely been hard because it takes about six to eight months to heal, and an entire year to fully recover. When you are a part of a game like this, you cannot slack at all," he shared.

The actor also mentioned, "We've been having promotions all across the country, and we have to dance. So, I have been just icing and taping and managing my way through it. But I am just very glad that I am in a position like this right now. I have zero complaint."
