Azaad box office collection day 1: Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani made her big Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's film. The 19-year-old starred alongside Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgan in Azaad. The movie had its theatrical release on January 17, 2024. It locked horns with Kangana Ranaut's political film Emergency. This clash resulted in Azaad making a slow start at the box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Rasha Thadani, and Aaman Devgan's film, Azaad got an opening of Rs 1.5 crore at the box office. The collection is less compared to Kangana Ranaut's Emergency, which minted Rs 2.35 crore.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad revolves around the story of a young boy with a spirited horse. The young boy's quest to ride the majestic horse eventually becomes a journey of courage. In this film, Rasha plays the role of Janaki, and Aaman is seen as Govind.

Meanwhile, Rasha recently shared the golden advice she received from her mother Raveena before her movie debut. "A lot of dos - Of course, staying humble is not something only about the film but in general in life. But one thing that my nana told me is, my mom also took forward and reiterated with me, was that the director is boss on the set. You just silently listen. There is no need for giving any input - no.
