Ayushmann Khurrana is making a new cinematic journey with Karan Johar's production. The film, not yet named, will be directed by Aakash Kaushik and will be a blend of espionage and comedy.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Karan Johar and producer Guneet Monga liked the script. It is billed as a commercial film full of entertainment, action, comedy, and thrills. Ayushman is confirmed to play the male lead, but the female protagonist has not yet been finalized. According to reports, Sara Ali Khan’s name is being considered. It is Aakash Kaushik’s debut as a director. The film is supposed to go on the floor in June.

There are other projects helmed by Ayushmann that created a buzz among people. The biopic of Sourav Ganguly has drawn people’s attention. It was announced two years back and Ayushman is supposed to play Dada in the film. According to reports, Ayushmann and Sourav met in Delhi for the projects. With the new film on, Sourav’s biopic will have to be pushed.

The sports biopic will be produced by Luv Ranjan Films. Vikramaditya Motwane may direct the film. Ayushman, before coming to acting, was a left-handed batsman. It was his biggest plus point.

When questioned about the biopic, Ayushman said, “I don’t want to say anything about this right now. We have to wait for the official announcement to know when something will happen.”

Ayushman's last work was Dream Girl 2 where he paired with Ananya Pandey. The film did not do great business and earned a bit more than a hundred crores. Dream Girl 3 has already been announced and Sara Ali Khan is replacing Ananya. However, it has also not been officially announced.
