Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 has become one of the most watched films on OTT this week. The movie is a theatrical release which is out on OTT recently. The film is currently competing with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. The two films released together and have been clashing on OTT too. Ormax Media has unveiled its list of the top three theatrical releases which are now working well on OTT. The list is for October 20-26. Here it is…

Gadar 2

After last week, Gadar 2’s popularity went up. The movie has gone up from the second to first spot. Gadar 2 is one of the highest grossing films of the year. The movie is the sequel to the 2001 release. Apart from maintaining the essence of the iconic songs from the original film, Gadar 2 also stays true to the plot which was touched upon in Gadar and that is what makes this film desirable, in both theatres as well as on OTT.

OMG 2

The two sequels – Gadar 2 as well as OMG 2 – released in theatres on August 11. OMG 2’s original film released in 2012 and was a hit. The film, adapted from a Gujarati play Kanji Virudh Kanji (which was also adapted from the Billy Connolly film The Man Who Sued God), starred Paresh Rawal opposite Akshay Kumar. The latest features Pankaj Tripathi as the second male lead opposite Akshay.

Dream Girl 2

Dream Girl 2 is the latest film to release on OTT. It is among top three already. The film, a sequel to the 2019 release, sees Ayushmann back as Pooja. The movie also introduces Ananya Panday to the franchise. Dream Girl 2 also worked well in theatres.

Salman Khan has warned Abhishek Sharma about Isha Malviya’s boyfriend entering Bigg Boss 17 soon. While the exes Abhishek and Isha are still in the house and he is still attached to her, Isha’s boyfriend Samarth Jurel is a wild card contestant who will join the show over the Weekend Ka Vaar. Various promos of him are already going viral on the internet.

How did Salman warn Abhishek

Salman Khan, who has been guiding Abhishek to move on from Isha (since she has been clear about her intentions), now told Abhishek that he has to take care of his own well-being and stay strong in the house. The host said, “Apne emotions ko sambhaalo warna bahut bhaari padega. Ek bada toofaan aane wala hai.” The toofaan surely hinted at Samarth’s entry, which already hit Abhishek like a wave.

The entry breaks Abhishek

Samarth’s entry as ‘Isha’s boyfriend’ left Abhishek in tears. He kept grieving at how he lost the love of his life and she has moved on and the other guy (co-incidentally their co-star from Udaariyaan) is in the house too. As Abhishek broke down, the housemates gathered to console him. Munawar rushed to be there by Abhishek’s side. While Samarth entered as ‘Isha’s boyfriend,’ she refused to dating him.

Abhishek-Isha’s bond

Abhishek is still very much in love with and is crushing over Isha. He has found the woman of his dreams in Isha and thus, refuses to let her go. She, on the other hand, has been clear that she just wants to keep Abhishek in the friendzone. This has been hurting him further.
