Ayushmann Khurrana says Anubhav Sinha’s Anek is a genre breaker for him

The political thriller will mark Ayushmann Khurrana and Anubhav Sinha’s reunion after Article 15

Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming political thriller Anek is a movie the actor’s fans are eagerly looking forward to. The movie is directed by Anubhav Sinha, who the actor previously collaborated with in Article 15.

Khurrana has now stated that he believes the movie will be a genre breaker for him. Talking to Pinkvilla he said, “Anek is a political thriller and I look forward to that film. It’s a genre breaker for me,”

The star also added that director Sinha is a maverick filmmaker and that he is restless and wants to say something about the movie. He also said that the filmmaker has got a great voice of his own and wants to address something to the society in his own way.

The movie also got a great certificate from the actor, after he said that he got a chance to watch the edit of Anek and that it is a beautiful movie.

Written and directed by Sinha, the movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Sinha under the banner of T-Series and Benaras Media Works respectively.

Apart from Anek the actor has two more movies that he will be working on in the new year. Doctor G is the first, and is directed by debutant Anubhuti Kashyap is a social drama and also stars Rakul Preet Singh.

The second is a movie titled Action Hero which is directed by another newcomer Anirudh Iyer.
