Despite being one of the most successful actors of Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana has had a time of deep downfalls. Even though he made a hit debut with Vicky Donor three of his nexts were a flop in a row - Nautanki Saala, Hawaii and Bewakoofiyan.

Recently, the actor revealed about his failures while talking to News 18. He said he met a director who told him that his movies are not going to sell anymore. Mentioning no names, he opened up about being told that he won’t be appealing in the market after delivering a row of flops.

Recalling the situation, he narrated the incident to have happened when he said no to a film. He remembered the director asking him why he said no as he no longer sells in the market. He also revealed the director’s words that said how he was doing the actor a favour by offering the movie.

However, Ayushmann made a strong comeback and brought crowds to the cinemas through Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Yet he had to wait for another 2 years after the hit, for his next project. Speaking about this, the actor said he was waiting for the right film.

It was then the actor could deliver acclaimed roles in a row ranging from Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho to Bala, Andhadhun, Article 15 and more. Not stopping there, he journeyed towards a National Award for Andhadhun and Filmfare for Article 15 consecutively.

He was recently seen in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui alongside Vaani Kapoor. The movie released theatrically today and has been receiving positive reviews so far.
