Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ayalaan is set to be released in theatres during Pongal 2024
The second track from Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Ayalaan, Ayalaa Ayalaa, has been released. AR Rahman, who has scored music for the film, released his second single earlier today. This is the second single from the film. Notably, the first single from the film, Vera Level Sago, was released almost 2 years ago. Ayalaan, a science-fiction drama starring Sivakarthikeyan, is directed by Ravikumar. The makers have announced that the film will be released in theatres during Pongal 2024.

How Ayalaan, the alien, was created using CGI
The extraterrestrial character in Ayalaan was created through CGI and visual effects. During the filming, a young boy was used as a substitute for the alien, which gave Sivakarthikeyan a visual guide. Ravikumar had previously acknowledged that achieving synchronisation on the visual effects screen was a significant challenge.

About Ayalaan, the film
Ayalaan is based on an extraterrestrial being who lands in Chennai. Chithha actor Siddharth has lent his voice to the alien’s character in the film. Produced by KJR Studios and 24 AM Studios, Ayalaan boasts a star-studded cast, including Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran. The cinematography is by Nirav Shah, while the editing has been handled by Gopi Prasanna.
