Matthew Perry’s fans are brimming with anger over SNL alum Kevin Brennan’s post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The tweet is not only offensive to the fans but is also a disgrace to the late actor’s sad demise.
What does the post say?
The former SNL writer and comedian took to his X account and reshared a news story about late actor Matthew Perry’s death and tweeted “DROWNED IN A HOT TUB. HAHAHAHA.”
His mockery didn’t stop here, he later shared a follow-up tweet and clarified that he did try to poke fun but didn’t intend to mock Perry.
However, he also added, “I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die.” The insensitive commentary attracted hate comments and anger from fans across the world.

While most of the users asked how the news story was funny, many expressed their outrage by calling Brennan disgusting and awful.
