Parambrata Chatterjee is all geared up with his new avatar as a lawyer. As Kannada film director- Pavan Wadeyar debuts in the Hindi entertainment industry with Awasthi Vs Awasthi, the actor introduces his character in the film on Friday.

The introductory video clip shows Parambrata, the protagonist, in a black lawyer cloak. In a world filled with a web of lies, the fight for truth is crucial. The video clip hints that Parambrata has filed a case against himself. This will be the actors’ first Hindi film as the lead.

On Friday, the first look of “Awasthi Vs Awasthi” was released, featuring the actor in a lawyer’s dress code. Along with that, a glimpse of the story was also revealed. In the current scenario where the whole world is busy pointing fingers at each other, blaming one another for faults and crimes, there comes an extraordinarily honest lawyer who files a case against himself! Even in the preview video, the voice of such a thoughtful judge could be heard, saying, “I haven’t seen a case like this in my 35-year career.”

In this film, Parambrata’s character is named Kishore Awathi. Along with the actor, Geeta Basra, Darshana Banik, and others play the key character. Pawan told the media, “I have started working in Bollywood, taking inspiration from the Kannada industry. I believe that the audience will connect with my story in this film.”

Parambrata has been shuttling between Mumbai and Kolkata for a while. His performance in Shibpur has been lauded. He will soon be seen in Raja Chanda’s Biye Bibhrat. Meanwhile, he has been busy working in Kaushik Ganguly’s Ashukh Bishukh. He has directed a paranormal thriller for Houchoi. The web series will be released later this year. He will also shoot Hawa Bodol with Rudranil Ghosh, Raima Sen, and Anusha Viswanathan.
