Marvel President Kevin Feige is about to take centre stage at the Comic-Con and here is what you should expect from his time.
Everything Marvel To Expect At The Comic Con 2024
The chatter around superhero culture in the last couple of years hasn't been entirely positive. There are many reasons for this, and it’s certainly not just the MCU that is responsible. The biggest discussion was, of course, the idea of superhero fatigue and how the audience is suffering from it. However, all of this went down the drain as soon as Deadpool & Wolverine promotions began, and the world was back to obsessing over superheroes and the newly adapted R-rating in the MCU. Not just that, the conversation around superhero fatigue faded even more when everyone suddenly got pumped for San Diego Comic-Con as soon as it was confirmed that Kevin Feige is back at the event and will be holding an hour-long session showcasing the future of the MCU.
So you know that the superheroes are back in form and taking the world by storm again, one project at a time. With Deadpool & Wolverine just a day away from release and Kevin Feige taking the stage at Comic-Con’s Hall H event in two days, there is so much anticipation in the air that we can feel the euphoria. There will be projects announced and trailers and footage shared. The world will witness it all. As we move ahead and inch closer to the day, we thought of listing the possible major announcements and reveals we might get to see at the Hall H event. Read on to know everything you should about them.
While we have been talking about the tentpole projects made by the studio, we certainly forgot that there is a niche film of anti-heroes uniting in the making. Thunderbolts led by Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Sebastian Stan, with more people joining them on the expedition, has been filming for a while now. Considering most of the movie has been shot and is in post-production, or at least the major chunk, there is no harm in expecting a teaser trailer at Comic-Con. Also, what better place to introduce Lewis Pullman as Sentry, after all the drama that unfolded earlier this year?
There is a lot riding on the film that has Anthony Mackie at the helm. Captain America: Brave New World has the responsibility to take the Cap mantle ahead and in as respectful a way as the Steve Rogers ones. There is so much at stake because, from what we have seen, the movie changes the grammar of the current MCU trend and takes us back to the times when the studio made films more rooted in reality. So, there is much to expect. We may get a trailer for the movie, considering it is the next theatrical release after Deadpool & Wolverine.

Okay, we all accept this, and even those who do not secretly do, that we all celebrated reading the rumor that the studio is now in talks with the Russo Brothers to direct Avengers 5 and Avengers 6 aka Avengers: Secret Wars. So, it would not be a shocker if Kevin Feige decides to bring the drama to the event by announcing the return of the filmmaker duo that gave us Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War, and more. This announcement will take the Marvel anticipation club’s levels higher.
One of the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe announcements of the year was the cast confirmation of The Fantastic Four with that brilliant poster released by the makers. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn have come together to form the first Marvel family, and there is so much legacy they are representing at the moment. While the movie is still far from wrapping up production, there have been some successful schedules, and we can expect a teaser or a short gateway into the universe.
Spider-Man 4 is now confirmed, and Kevin Feige has already confirmed that. He even mentioned that Tom Holland’s franchise will no longer have Jon Watts as the director. So, there are high chances now that we can expect an announcement with the name of the director and probably even a synopsis. We have already read a whole lot about the plot for the film that grapples with the impact of Spider-Man: No Way Home and taps into Peter Parker’s PTSD, which makes him a vigilante.
And we saved the best for last. Ever since the mutants began to enter the MCU, the universe hasn't been the same. There is so much more to this world now, creating avenues for a bigger story. There is a high chance Kevin Feige may announce an Avengers vs. X-Men project at Comic-Con. We know this sounds like a wild thought, but there has to be one massive announcement, and nothing can be bigger than this.
