Sachin Ravi to direct Shahid Kapoor
According to Pinkvilla, the period epic will be directed by Kannada film editor-turned-director Sachin Ravi. Sachin is best known for directing Rakshit Shetty in the beloved action-adventure Avane Srimannarayana. The source tells the portal that Sachin Ravi has been in discussions with the producers for a long, and things have now officially started. It's based on one of the Mahabharata's most intriguing characters, and Sachin is eager to explore this world with Shahid playing the lead.

After finishing the cop thriller directed by Rosshan Andrews, the Jab We Met actor is anticipated to delve right into this project. Shahid will next be seen in Dinesh Vijan's untitled robot romantic comedy, opposite Kriti Sanon, which is slated to hit theaters on Valentine's Day weekend the following year.
