Atul Kulkarni and Raashii Khanna join Ajay Devgn in Rudra - The Edge of Darkness

After Esha Deol, two more actors have joined Ajay Devgn in his digital debut Rudra - The Edge of Darkness. Yes, we are talking about Atul Kulkarni and Raashii Khanna. The series is the Indian adaptation of the British show Luther and is helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Interestingly, Esha is also making her OTT debut with Rudra and reunites her with Ajay with whom she worked in many films.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Raashii shared her excitement stating, "It is really rare to get something that pushes you out of your comfort zone and actually challenges you as an actor and Rudra just gave me that opportunity. I am extremely elated."

While Atul said, "Digital content is dynamic and has altered the art of storytelling." He also said that Rudra - The Edge of Darkness will disrupt the genre of cop dramas in India.

Earlier about coming onboard for Rudra and working with Ajay, Esha had said, "I am really excited to be back to work, especially alongside Ajay. We have been co-stars in numerous movies and I am beyond thrilled to make my digital debut with this series. There is a great comfort level between us as actors, and it is exciting to work in a new format with him. I am really charged up with the script and with my role."

The series also features Ashwini Kalsekar and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles. Rudra is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC studios.

The series is set to go on floors this week and will be extensively shot in the different parts of Mumbai.

Interestingly, this will be Raashii's second OTT show as she is also shooting for Raj & DK's Amazon Prime series starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
