Atrangi Re: “I stopped judging Rinku and fell in love with her,” says Sara about her character in the film

The film Atrangi Re is nearing its release and the team, starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, is leaving no stone unturned to promote the upcoming film. Sara Ali Khan is also often seen grooving and showing her love for the song Chaka Chak from the comedy-drama film. Whether it’s social media platforms or film events, the actress can be seen tapping her feet all the time on the groovy steps of the song with her colleagues.

In a recently shared post, the actress mentioned the moods and emotions of her character Rinku with multiple pictures. The recent Instagram post reads, “Many moods and emotions of Rinku

According to an interview on News 18, Sara revealed her process of becoming Rinku and getting into the skin of the character to perform better. “I fell in love with Rinku. I stopped judging her and I fully started to understand her,” she said. The actress further revealed that she got really connected with the character, which made the director of the film, Aanand L Rai say in the middle of the shoot that she has indeed become Rinku because she understands her.

The actress also praised her first-time co-star and South superstar Dhanush, who has earlier been seen in two Bollywood films Raanjhanaa, opposite Sonam Kapoor, and Shamitabh alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

Apart from Sara and Dhanush, the forthcoming film also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Atrangi Re, which also features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Dimple Hayathi in pivotal roles, has been slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on December 24.
