Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who is busy with the shooting of Faadu for SonyLIV, is gearing up to debut in the digital space with her upcoming web series. The upcoming show stars Saiyami Kher and Pavail Gulati alongside the Aspirants fame actor Abhilash Thapliyal, who heaps praise on Ashwiny for deftly running the show on set.

Abhilash recently shared in a statement that the filmmaker tends to stay calm even in a very chaotic situation. “Her 'Sab ho jaayega, shanti rakho' attitude is something I admire,” he added.

Talking about his experience on the sets of Faadu, the actor mentioned that his character’s name is Roxie and playing this part was a new experience as the world of this character is different from his real life. He further mentioned, “Every character in the series is a poet in his or her own right, in one way or the other way. I am never [swayed by] the length of my character. What matters to me is the spin that he can give to the narrative."

The filmmaker is known for her works in some of the critically acclaimed films such as Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Panga and her recent Netflix anthology 'Ankahi Kahaniya'.

The latest sports documentary on ZEE5 titled Breakpoint, which has been helmed by the moviemakers alongside husband Nitesh Tiwari, is based on the partnership and success of the Indian Tennis stars Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes.

On the other hand, Abhilash, who debut in Bollywood with the Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem starrer 2018 comedy-romantic film Dil Juunglee, is also gearing up Balaji Motion Pictures’ upcoming project Ktina.
