Ashok Selvan gets hitched to Keerthi Pandian; netizens go gaga over the adorable couple's pics

We reported a while ago that Ashok Selvan and Keerthi Pandian are set to tie the knot. The couple married today in a traditional affair that happened at Tirunelveli in the presence of near and dear ones. Ashok took to his Twitter page to post a few pics from the event and expressed excitement.

He also added the hashtags #Grateful and #AshoKee, sending fans into a tizzy. Netizens made their pics viral in no time and wished the beautiful couple a happy married life. Interestingly, Keerthi, too, tweeted the same post along with the pics.

Blue Star to be released soon

S Jayakumar's Blue Star brought the two of them together. The film, which is set against the backdrop of cricket and friendship, is likely to be released this year. Pa Ranjith has produced the movie which has a story set in Arakkonam.

Shanthnu, Prithvi and Dhivya Duraisamy among others play pivotal roles in the project for which Ashok has shed 10 kilos to fit into the shoes of the character he played in it. The first single from the movie, Railin Oligal, composed by Govind Vasantha, will be out today evening.

Filmi life

Ashok was last seen in Por Thozhil, the run-away hit of Tamil cinema this year. The crime drama helmed by debutant Vignesh Raja witnessed him and Sarath Kumar delivering a power-packed performance. Amazon Prime's web series Gangs is one of his upcoming projects.

On the other hand, Keerthi was previously seen in Anbirkiniyal, the remake of the Malayalam super hit film Helen. The survival drama had her share screen space with her father and actor Arun Pandian.
