Aditi and Ashwini made sure that young couples in love had an affordable, yet appealing way to get their loved ones a token of their love.
In just a matter of days, Shark Tank India is all set to hit the silver screen with yet another season where entrepreneurs from all over the country set out to try their luck at convincing the sharks to invest in their business. As season two of the popular business reality show is about to premiere, it's a great chance to look back on some of the most interesting and memorable pitches that made viewers fall in love with the show.
One of the episodes of the finale week of season one featured business duo Aditi and Ashwini, who had a novel idea which could help young people in love give a memorable token to the ones they love. The duo’s business, called Thea and Sid, offered their consumers a range of sterling silver and zirconia proposal rings, costing up to Rs 10,000. The duo, who have previous experience in the diamonds and manufacturing business, made an offer to the sharks, offering 7% equity in their company for an investment ask of Rs 80 lakhs.
Impressed by the novel idea and the research they put into it, as well as the numbers, the judges were keen on questioning the duo to get a better idea of their company. However, on questioning the duo, the sharks realised that they were able to poke a few holes in Aditi and Ashwini’s business plan, especially when it came out that the two also sell other range of jewellery as well.

The second season of the reality show will feature Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal and Amit Jain, the latter replacing Ashneer Grover.
