Pyaar Hai completed 25 years today, the actress shared memories related to the film and more.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Ameesha Patel recalled the fan frenzy after Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai was released in theatres. The actress revealed, "There were so many fans who took pictures of us to temples and churches and married the photos. I would get pictures of myself with sindoor and letters written in blood. People would stalk me, find my address, and wait outside; it was another level of fear and madness."

Talking about the film's re-release, Ameesha mentioned it feels nice to see that people felt that Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai is important enough to be re-released. For those who are unaware, the movie had its theatrical re-release on January 10, 2025. In the same conversation, Patel said her chemistry was fantastic with Hrithik in the film.

She called her performance in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai 'raw'. "I think people loved the authenticity reflected on screen," added Ameesha. The actress also revealed that she had watched Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai only twice. However, she is now excited to see it with friends and family who didn't the film with her earlier.

On a concluding note, Ameesha reflected on her 25 years in the Hindi film industry. "I’d like to think that my grasp of cinema is better now, but I’m still a student. It’s been a great journey and I have no complaints," she said.
