As Hi Nanna is streaming on OTT, here's how much the Nani-starrer made in its full theatrical run

Hi Nanna is one of the biggest hits in Nani's career. The family drama was directed by Shouryuv and is now streaming on Netflix. It has been going great so far and has been in the top ten list ever since it started streaming online. Well, as the film is streaming on Netflix, let us look at the closing collections of the film.

The family drama has made Rs 35 crore share at the box office in its final run. That means Hi Nanna has grossed close to 72 crores to date worldwide and has been a profitable venture for all those involved. As per the update, Hi Nanna made the highest revenue in Telangana with a Rs 11 crore share, and in Andhra, it made a Rs 7.5 crore share which is quite decent.

Hi Nanna was a smash hit at the US box office as it made Rs 9 crore share ending as Nani's ninth one million dollar film in the US. As the film was released in multiple languages, Hi Nanna made Rs 5.5 crore share in the rest of India.

The news is also that Netflix paid a massive price to bag the digital to the film. What's special is that Netflix has also bagged the OTT rights of Nani's new film Saripoda Sanivaaram already. This shows what kind of confidence Netflix has in Nani's films.

Nani's last two films ended as massive hits

Nani's last two films, Dasara and Hi Nanna made good money at the box office and that is the reason, the demand for theatrical and other post-release rights is high. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead in this film which also had Angad Bedi in a supporting role.

Hi Nanna is the story of a single father who falls in love with his ex-wife who forgets her past. The class narration and super hit music by Hesham Abdul Wahab were also one of the biggest reasons for the film to be a massive success. As of now, Nani is shooting for Saripoda Sanivaaram which also has Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead.
