As Adipurush advance bookings start, free tickets pour in for Prabhas starrer

The large-scale distribution of complimentary tickets across the country will boost the opening-day collection of Adipurush at the box office.

As the highly-anticipated film Adipurush gears up for its release this Friday, fans and celebrities are showing their support by securing free tickets for the Prabhas-starrer.

Adding to the excitement, Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has announced his plan to book approximately 10,000 tickets and distribute them to children from underprivileged backgrounds.

Before Ranbir, producer Abhishek Agarwal spearheaded the initiative of giving away free tickets to people from weaker sections to expand the reach of the movie. "This June, let us celebrate the most noble one. Let's celebrate the Maryada Purushottam. Let's celebrate Adipurush," he said. Emphasizing the timeless lessons of Lord Shri Ram, he added, "Every chapter of Lord Shri Ramam is a lesson to mankind. This generation needs to learn about him and follow his divine footsteps," said Abhishek, who is known for producing The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2, in a statement.

Abhishek will distribute tickets to government schools, orphanages, and old age homes.

Meanwhile, Shreyas Media, a popular PR agency, on Sunday announced that it is also contributing to the fanfare surrounding Adipurush by offering over 100 tickets to each Ram temple in Khammam District, Telangana. This gesture aims to enable devotees and followers of Lord Ram to partake in the cinematic experience of the mythological epic.

The advance booking has begun in many parts of the country. According to reports, the filmmakers are aiming to give the movie a big launch in the country. It's said the filmmakers have planned to release the movie in cinemas on more than 6000 screens.

However, in a huge disappointment, Adipurush will not be available in the IMAX format . The non-availability of the IMAX prints is said to be the main reason behind it.

Adipurush, the cinematic adaptation of the mythological epic Ramayana, stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.
