He mentioned that he and Akshay are going to work together in Jolly LLB 3 while explaining why Akshay took his place in Jolly LLB 2. “Now Jolly LLB 3 is in the making and you will see Akshay teaming up with me in the film," Arshad told Amar Ujala. This was the original plan – I’d feature in the first film, he’ll do the second.”
He further talked about being replaced by Salman Khan for hosting Bigg Boss. He said, "As for Bigg Boss, I could not do the next season as I had gone to London for a shoot. But I do believe Salman Khan is the best shot the show could have. No one could have done that job better than Salman. The reality show needs a ‘Dabangg’’ like Salman.”
Arshad even revealed that even his film Hulchul didn't make him happy. The movie, which was one of his first comedies, was a commercial hit. Along with Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Suniel Shetty, Hulchul was directed by Priyadarshan.
