Arjun Mathur is confident enough about the second season of his Prime Video series.
Only a few hours are left for the premiere of the much-awaited second season of Made in Heaven. Ahead of its release on Prime Video, a premiere was hosted in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, and several actors, along with the leading cast, marked their presence. The first two episodes from the second season were screened at the premiere, and soon after that, Arjun Mathur, the leading actor in the series, penned a heartfelt note.
The Emmy-nominated actor dropped a new poster of Made in Heaven also featuring Sobhita Dhulipala and wrote, "Last night, I watched the first two episodes of the new season for the first time—that too, with an audience AND on a big screen. It was truly special. Thank you to everyone who was there to support us. And THANK YOU, dear fans of this show, for all the love you have continually given us for four long years, which in turn is what enabled us to bring you something that is worthy of that love all over again."
Arjun added, "I can now confidently say that I cannot wait for you to watch this. TONIGHT!"
Talking about the premise of Made in Heaven 2 Prime Video described it by stating that financial difficulties, a declining clientele, and a dilapidated cottage for an office force wedding planners Tara Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan Mehra (Arjun Mathur) into an uneasy new normal. Even if it's having an effect on their personal lives, they're still planning and executing perfect weddings for their clients. The superficial beauty of a Delhi wedding hides prejudices as old as the city's customs.
Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti are the series' creators; they also co-directed episodes with Alanktrita Srivastav, Nitya Mehra, and Neeraj Ghaywan. The new additions to the cast this time are Mona Singh and Trinetra Haldar, along with Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
Prime Video is likely to premiere Made in Heaven Season 2 on August 9 at 8 p.m.
